Partner With Fiber Arts Houston

For shops, publishers, and makers: help us protect the knowledge that keeps makers in the craft, and in your store.

When the References Vanish, the Customers Follow.

Titles go out of print. Whole traditions are documented only in French, German, Japanese, or Spanish. Great collections disappear when their owners do. And when the references vanish, the classes, the skills, and eventually the customers follow.

Fiber Arts Houston is a nonprofit lending library built to real library standards, with 2,500+ books, patterns, and tools in the collection today.

It won’t come from a budget line. It comes from fiber artists and partners like you.

Where Partnering Is a Win for You.

Tax-Deductible

In Front of Engaged Makers

Titles and products you donate can be reviewed and featured in Twist & Ply, our journal, where makers are already reading.

Recognized

Every gift is acknowledged in our cataloguing. Sustaining Scholars are named permanently, and major gifts can carry naming opportunities.

Let’s Collaborate.

Joint social media campaigns, co-hosted events, and more. We’re open to ideas that serve makers and your business.

  • Publishers: backlist spotlights, author talks, reprint-demand signals from our checkout data, and permission to digitize out-of-print titles.
  • Yarn and tool makers: a stitch-along using a pattern from the stacks, or a Make-from-the-Stacks challenge.
  • Shops: gift memberships for your students, guild, or customers.
